Founded in 1985, Striar Hebrew Academy is a coeducational, modern-Orthodox day school located in Sharon, Massachusetts. As a dual-arm institution with an NAEYC-accredited preschool and an elementary school, the integrated general and Hebrew curriculum at Striar Hebrew Academy shapes the learning process from the very early years onward. Our mission is to instill a love of Torah and Israel and a sense of community involvement, while building a solid foundation for higher general and Judaic studies. We are strongly committed to nurturing and developing the individual child--from providing specialized in-classroom support of students with learning differences, to offering a unique selection of after-school enrichment programs.

Kadima Community Day School is the new Jewish school of the Merrimack Valley of Massachusetts and New Hampshire.  We promote academic excellence in both general and Jewish studies.  By modeling social responsibility and focusing on the whole child, we prepare children to become knowledgeable, committed Jews, engaged citizens, and compassionate human beings.  We accomplish these objectives through close relationships between parents, teachers, and students.  For 2007-2008, Kadima invites children to our preschool and integrated Kindergarten-First Grade classes.  We plan to add a grade each year as we become a comprehensive elementary school.  We anticipate moving over the summer of 2008 to Andover, MA to better serve Merrimack Valley families.  Congregation Beth Israel, currently building a new home on Boutwell Road, will be hosting Kadima in their Education Wing.

Co-ed, grades K-8
JCDS, Boston’s Jewish Community Day School, is a nationally recognized
pluralist day school serving students in grades K-8 from families across a wide spectrum of Jewish beliefs and practices.  The school offers an excellent academic program that integrates Judaic and general studies. English and Hebrew are both used throughout the day as languages of instruction and communication. Low student to staff ratios permit individualized attention. The school’s hallmarks are its focus on individual children and their learning styles, a talented and creative staff, and open honest communication in a bold, cutting-edge community that is making a difference in Jewish education.

Creating a Caring Jewish Community

At JCC Early Childhood Education Centers, we serve young families by providing quality preschool learning experiences at six program sites throughout the Greater Boston area offering full-day and part-day flexibility; full-week and part-week options; school year and full year schedules.

We present a richly varied, developmentally appropriate program that stimulates curiosity, builds self-confidence, and promotes each child’s cognitive, physical, spiritual, and emotional development.

Our programs build a foundation for lifelong Jewish living and learning by introducing children to the culture and heritage of the Jewish people. We celebrate Jewish life in a setting that is inclusive and pluralistic, welcoming families who would like to connect with the Jewish community, including interfaith families and families from different backgrounds and traditions. We nurture children, embrace families, mentor teachers and create a caring Jewish community.

We are now accepting enrollment for summer and fall of 2004.
